Main Dialog



The main dialog is the primary interface of pCrawler and is composed of a few major parts as described below.

1. Display Window - As images and movies are downloaded they will be displayed in this window (if the option is selected in the configure dialog). The window frame is proportional to the application therefore, not all images will fill the complete display window. However, the image currently displayed will always be displayed in its proper proportions (width to height or height to width). The main dialog CANNOT be resized, however, users can click on the YELLOW ARROW to launch the currently displayed item in the pCrawler viewer. Once the Viewer is open, any newly downloaded content will be displayed there.

2. Thread Status Window - The thread status window displays the current operation of each of the crawler threads as pCrawler crawls the internet. Other informational messages such as, Image too small, Already downloaded, etc.. are displayed for each thread in this window as well.

4. Launch Viewer -
Clicking on the yellow up-arrow will launch pCrawler's Viewer Dialog. The viewer Dialog can be maximized to display the current content in full screen mode and is fully resizeable.
